BMC34-FORMS OF THINGS UNKNOWN

On Todayâs episode:
Tonight Nic from bmovieman.com and I are going to talk again about one of my favorite vintage TV shows the Outer Limits. As a child growing up in the 50âs and 60âs I really enjoyed this show. I talked about the Outer Limits on show # 6 âThe Galaxy Beingâ. On this show Iâm going to talk about an episode called âFORMS OF THINGS UNKNOWNâ. I picked this episode for a lot of reasons one of which is because itâs one of my favorites. If youâre an Outer Limits freak like me I thing youâll enjoy this show.

BMC19-Film Mark of the Vampire 1935

On this show Iâll be talking about the 1935 Film Mark of the Vampire starring Lionel Barrymore, Bela Lugosi, and Carroll Borland. The reason I chose this film is because ever since reading the book Hollywood Horror by Mark A. Vieira (which I interviewed on Show # 10) Iâve been intrigued by the early gothic horror films since there are many I havenât seen. Another reason I picked Mark of the Vampire is because Tod Browning was the Director.

The text includes 160 of the most important horror, fantasy, and science fiction films of the Hollywood studio era. The book does not seek to critique or analyze these films, but rather to do what has not been done before, to combine stories of their creation with a visual survey of their evolution.
